Why is obama being congratulated over osamas death when the CIA orchestrated the whole thing?

I don't understand why people think obama is some kind of hero because he was in office during osama's death.


What gives?|||The hunt, interrogation procedurals and intel confirmation methods began by Bush's executive orders; Obama merely changed the interrogation procedurals, ordering them to be more "politically correct"--which is why it took 2 years to get intel that likely could have been gleaned and confirmed in under 10 days.





Otherwise, nothing much more was changed. Obama unfortunately was "on watch" as president when things fell into play at the right place and time. The only credit Obama can lay claim to is HE gave the "go ahead" order, nothing more.





It's laughable to see him glow and crow in his speech; you'd think he personally donned Rambo gear and fired the fatal bullet(s) himself. LOL!!





Still and all: Congrats to Obama.....I'm still NOT voting for him in 2012.|||The task force that was working on finding bin Laden was disbanded by Bush in 2006.





When Obama took office, one of his first acts was to restore it and give orders that it was a mission to find bin Laden. He provided support, resources and focus to make sure that they stayed on mission and had what they needed.





He was involved in all of most important strategic planning, and he was the one that gave them the order to go into Pakistan.|||Nonsense. Because any person with a snippet of corporate experience realizes the credit/blame goes to the decision maker. The operatives simply execute the plan.





This talking point will linger because Fox/RNC will push it, begging their shills to see it through.





Unfortunately, too many logical folks for such stuff to gain traction.|||Perhaps because the CIA unit charged with finding bin Laden was disbanded in 2006; and when Obama took office he instructed Panetta to refocus on the task.|||Why was Bush congratulated on the aircraft carrier under the MISSION ACCOMPLISHED banner when US and NATO troops fought and died in Iraq. See how that works?|||obama had nothing to do with it.
