Do you think President Obama lacks leadership and is giving too much power to his democratic congress?

It seems that President Obama has no power over the country. It seems that Nancy Peloci and Harry Reid have more power over the country than Obama.|||There is a separation of powers in this nation designed by the constitution. As for the lacking leadership, Obama has told his minions what he wants. Many, like Reid and Harry, have tried to walk lock step. Those dems who refuse have been either threatened with the withdrawal of support or bribed with special deals for their state. What Obama lacks is integrity and an understand of how things are supposed to be accomplished.|||Yes, I do think President Obama lacks leadership and is giving too much power to his democratic congress. We need a man or woman who can stand up and MAKE DECISIONS - decisions based on their true beliefs, values and principles. We need someone to be strong in war and make rapid decisions to provide our military all that they need and request - to win the war. IF we don鈥檛 go all the way and try to rapidly win the war - then get out - and get out now without another lost life. Obama is trying to please everybody - all the while our soldiers are being killed and moral is going down everyday. We need a leader.

America needs a leader who will be financially responsible and scold our current politicians for their outrageous financial irresponsibility. We need a leader who believes in capitalism and the strength of the free markets to decide which companies fail and which succeed. We need a leader who will say that the recent $300 Million payoff to the Louisiana Senator is wrong and corrupt and that it WILL NOT OCCUR! Where is our leader? o_O|||The old adage "the tail is wagging the dog" was NEVER more appropriate than this scenario.

That Congress is carrying out Obamas "agenda" ( including the soon to be passed increase in Federal Withholding Tax to 45% ) is unquestionable. This is exactly what Obama wants though. Keep the opposition and anger off him and focused on Congress.|||Pelosi and Reid are the nails on Obama Presidency coffin, he almost seems like their errand boy, and dances to Pelosi' whip!

Pelosi and Reid have an 18% approval, you'd think Obama was smart enough to distance himself,

and take over the reign, or he will go under with them,|||While we are being under attack by Terrorists, Obama is in Hawaii golfing refusing photo ops, because he does not want the public to see,

That is Leadership for you, Obama style!|||I said all along, Obama is just a puppet! Not one original idea in his CAREER! Senate and White House. He was just the face of " hope and change". Now he is basically a political lackey.|||Well he ain't no Hillary, she would have shown who the Boss is,..

Obama is a community organizer who voted present almost all of the time,

why did anyone expect leadership from him?|||Obama is constantly campaigning. He is not a leader by any means. He couldn't run a child's lemonade stand. He got into Harvard for one reason only|||He is a puppet. Like his minions, the Puppet Master decides for them. Therefore, you are correct, he lacks leadership.|||He is just a tool for Reid and Pelosi. A big azz tool.|||damn straight and i told him he was an idiot and a criminal in a e-mail i sent to him and the DNC|||i would answer yes to both parts of your question.|||No he doesn't lack leadership.

HE didn't give power to Congress, the Constitution of the United States did. The three branches of government were supposed to be equal, though the presidency has gained more power over the years.

The president doesn't pass legislation; the legislature (Congress) does.

The Constitution is very easy to find on the web, if you don't have a copy. You should read it.|||Obama hasn't been as directly involved in the legislative process as some presidents. I think that his strategy has been to propose the agenda and then let congress act on the proposal. Like the man or not, he has been remarkably successful in getting legislation through Congress.
