How come obama kept laughing and smirking during the debate?

Obama really made a fool of himself, I think. McCain showed more class and dignity.|||He was laughing at McCain just like most everyone else in the world.|||hyenas do that too|||Because he's nothing more than a Chicago street thug with an Affirmative Action Harvard degree.|||I agree. He has bought in to his own hype....or rather the hype that his Chicago buddies have made for him. You don't really think he got this far this fast on his own do you?|||Maybe he was full of warm fuzzies.|||I disagree.


I think McCain was the one who smirked the entire time, while he was being corrected by Obama.


Also, I don't see how McCain was being dignified when he wouldn't even look his colleague in the face.


McCain seemed scared of Obama.


And why didn't McCain want to shake hands at the end?...nothing classy about that!|||lol....class and dignity by not even bothering to look at or directly address Obama?? Clearly, every news source, including FOX, and the vast majority of independent voters screened completely disagreed with your view....they found McCain to be rude, arrogant, condescending, and the clear loser. |||I think it was because obama was tring to speak to mccain, to discuss.





mccain was spaking to the questioner, and did not adknowledge obama.





obama saw it as an insult (or pretended to see it that way), and was smirking at the shows of disrespect.





thats my take on it anyway|||he was pissed a few minutes into it he was calling mccain out and then when mccain did back to him he got pissed..he started looking pasty and clammy looking and blinking five hundred times a minute and he was grimacing..and kept interrupting ...lol i laughed was funny..and then when he called him tom...i thought i was gonna die laughin...cause i was wondering was he calling him uncle as well|||Obama was very nervous and intimidated...by a real man...|||the only reason why Obama was laughing during the debate is because mccain sounded so ******* stupid.I would have laughed at his dumb *** to.mccain is like another stupid *** bush.**** both bush and mccain.... haters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Same thing happens when you think about Palin as the VP, or, gasp, President.

Usually Obama sticks his nose in the air, but this time he was hanging his head (either reading and trying to catch up on notes, or embarrassed by the truth of McCains statements). Take a look and you will see what I am talking about. |||Obama kept smiling because he couldn't get a word in while McCain kept ranting about stuff that wasn't even true or relevant to the question. He kept talking over Obama and the guy that was asking the questions. He was just smiling because he wanted to be composed in front of the people and not get in McCain's face and try to push him down like McCain was already doing to Obama. |||He is ill mannered, ill bred, and a total jackass.|||McCain lost his temper several times--once, notably, when Obama used Kissinger's words against him. Multiple times throughout the debate, Obama said that he agreed with McCain, but contrasted his views. As many times as Obama laughed and patronized, McCain baulked and growled. I felt it was a poor performance from both candidates. Obama called the moderator 3 different names and McCain mispronounced the name of the Iranian president. McCain came off as pugnacious and angry and Obama let him bully him.


McCain won the debate, but I don't think you can argue that Obama lacked tact. Actually, I think it was because of that tact that he lost the debate.|||has he ever been serious? he does that all the time. He is still a kid.|||That explains why Obama is kicking McCain's sorry butt in the polls this morning...|||Because McCain had no pants on. He just met with GWB!|||Haha, i know. it was really awkward to watch. but whatever i dont think it will effect the views of his voterss|||bc mccain wouldnt hush when it was time for obama to speak. and besides he didnt make a fool of his self. I extremely disagree with u.|||He has a right to laugh.
