How is Obama supposed to create jobs without spending money or increasing the deficit?

I think I am wasting my time trying to educate republicans on the facts of life.

First of all, government is not the solution to our problems so don't demand obama create jobs.

Secondly, all government can do to create jobs is to spend money or slash taxes on the rich which both increase our deficit and thus our debt.

Can you guys make up your mind about what you want?|||Actually you need to learn something about taxes and the economy. Every time taxes have been cut in a meaningful way, tax revenue has increased due to increases in economic growth. Deficits do not increase when tax revenue is increased. I will use your "buddy" Bill Clinton as an example. When the repub controlled congress slowed spending and the economy grew quickly, our deficits actually shrank. Wow....I wish libs knew anything about economics.|||Why is it his job to create jobs? It's not. Job creation would flourish if we had regulation, evened up trade deficit and forced companies based in the US to produce goods in the US, but that will never happen in this capitalist corporate fascist country, because too many people don't understand big words.|||If government is not the solution, then why spend to create jobs? Your position contains no logic, but does fit right in with the Democrat plan.

He asks for tax increases on business, then wants to have another job stimulus bill without any funding, it makes absolutely no sense. Get government out of the way of industry and it will work out, let the stupid fail and the strong survive.

The US government has had a deficit EVERY year for 53 years straight and we find ourselves in this position. So, to increase the debt even more is a viable solution? Hmm, something is very wrong here.|||The government can not create any job except more government jobs, fir Christ's Sake.

This ain't rocket science.|||Here's an idea - SHRINK THE SIZE OF GOVERNMENT. This would allow for the creation of jobs in the private sector where they are most beneficial and we'd reduce our deficit because we'd be reducing our operating costs and expenditures.

There - problem solved.

(By the way, jobs in the gov't don't count as real jobs, even if they're real to those employed, because government doesn't create anything)|||Why should his administration care now it's been almost two years since the chicken littles said the sky is falling to win the election.|||Lets see. Since Business creates the majority of the jobs in America, how about starting off by giving breaks to business. Why is the Business Tax in America 30 percent and most anywhere else in the World is less than 15 percent? Why not put as much effort into creating jobs as you do with Health Care? Spend the money on programs in the private sector which creates the jobs, instead of funding all the stimulus money into state projects, controlled by greedy Politicians(regardless of party). I could go on and on, but bottom line is...this Congress and this Administration cares only about the Liberal agenda, and forget about America.|||If you listen to the pundits on either side, they start off the conversation saying that there really isn't much that the government can do to create jobs. On that point they all seem to agree. Then the pundits on the left start talking about all of the money the government needs to spend to create jobs.

That's where they lose me.|||"First of all, government is not the solution to our problems so don't demand obama create jobs."

You are making a complete contradiction. If you think that government is not the solution for all our problems, then you probably should not be pro Obama because thats what he seems to think. I do not quite understand what answer you are looking for in this question. Are you trying to feel smart? Can you not win a political discussion with any real person so you decide to do it on yahoo? Get a grip.
