I know that this is a top priority for McCain, so us tax payers can keep our money in our pockets. Does anyone know how Obama plans on dealing with this issue?|||Add to it. Since Obama has been in the US Senate, he has asked for and received almost one billion dollars in earmarks (pork) for his state. That was accomplished during his first two years in the senate. This year he has just been running for the presidency.
Did you read about what he did when he chaired the Annenberg Foundation with Ayers? They were given 100 million dollars to raise the standards of the Chicago Public School System. The scholastic programs like algebra, math, science, history and English all applied. However, the money was not given to fund those programs. Instead, the money was given to from what I understand to teaching radical teachings to the children. Recently I read an article which was written, explaining that there was just too much red tape involved in directly funding those scholastic programs, so they gave it to external forces to filter it back to the schools. Needless to say, the standards in the Chicago School Systems were not raised. He also promised the people that he would make sure that a parklike setting of botanical gardens would be built if they raised 100,000 dollars for that project. The money was raised, but there is no park of botanical gardens. Supposedly the money went to preparing the grounds or under the ground for the gardens. Supposedly the money ran out and they could not finish that project. The man who was seen doing the tractor work was contacted. He was asked how much he charged. "I would be surprised if I got more than 3000 dollars for that project. Mark Levin, a radio announcer on WMAL was the first one that talked about the park. Then, I found it on the internet, but it did not say what exactly happened to the money.
Obama plans on taxing us to death. He told Joe the Plumber that he wants to spread the wealth. That sounds like Socialism/Marxism/Communism to me.

Hes already planning on sending all sorts of lucrative trade agreements to china, with a company his half brother works for. And then theres acorn. Oh, and he just cut a deal with Powell, to get Powell to 'support' him. And before Obama made Biden his VP, Biden said his foreign policy was absolutely terrible. In addition, hes goen way over the federal spending cap for campaigns that all candidates have agreed to (including himself) since the 80s. Hes cutting deals everywhere for his benefit.|||Obama will tax us all into the ground. If you think that raising corporate taxes is the answer, you do not understand economics. Those tax increases will only be passed along to the consumer, and become yet another hidden tax.
At this point I must admit to my dismay that it appears Obama will win. We, the hard-working tax-paying middle class, will actually lose out desperately in this election. The wealthy will also lose out, but the middle class will feel that because the wealthy will pull money from charitable contributions and volunteer work.
We are heading to a socialist state, which will bring us all down.|||That's one of McCain's favorite lines, but few people realize that earmarks and pork-barrel spending equals less than one percent of the total federal budget. It just sounds good, but I don't like it. Most of those earmarks, unlike the bridge to nowhere, pay for things sorely needed by some states. I hate stingy, mean spirited old men.
McCain says he will freeze federal spending for all but essential services. You'd better be asking yourself what that will seriously mean for your community.|||Obama is a danger to our American Freedom.
He is a socialist. Read the facts about this dangerous person before you vote! I was going to vote for him until I read more about him and what he stands for. This is a scary time in US history if this person gets elected. READ %26amp; RESEARCH. I can't say that enough!

Corruption may be bad in Washington now but it will get worse if Obama takes charge. Once Obama takes away our right to bare arms there goes the amercan dream of freedom. Govt will be too big and the people won't have control anymore.

When he wasn't voting to increase taxes, deny our troops assistance, or kill babies, he was "present" for votes.. Also, he does not accept any money from lobbyists and I've read that his campaign put out a notice to people wanting to join a possible transitional team: you may not join if you have been a lobbyist during the past year.|||sorry but he cant do anything about it.
