Should i vote for candidates like Obama or Clinton because of their associations?
Or should i do it because of real issues. One or the other plz dont stray from the topic.....|||"Should i vote for candidates like Obama or Clinton because of their associations, or should I do it because of real issues?"
How can you say one or the other? It isn't an either or answer. You must take into account both if you wish to have a person in office who is qualified. Only an idiot would discount a person's background and associations, and solely focus on issues and vice versa. When a person is running for the most powerful and prestigious office in the United States government, we have to be sure that we are putting the right person in office. If they are not a moral, upstanding, honest and trustworthy person who can best represent all Americans, it doesn't matter what the issues are, because this would not be the right person to handle them. To be in the FBI, CIA or any job where you have to have a high level security clearance, they do extensive background checks. This includes, not only looking at the person's criminal record, it also includes looking into any associations that the person might have had with groups that are considered dangerous. Before you can handle any cases or deal with any sensitive information, they want to be sure you are the right person. Why do you think that is? It is because they don't want anyone in those positions who would mishandle things or be a danger to our nation. Yet we shouldn't look into the background and associations of a presidential candidate? What kind of logic is that? This is the man/woman who is going to run the whole damn country! Granted, the issues are important, but the character of the person is much more important.|||Real issues
Obama understands the frustrations of the black people and the white people, baracks preacher is obviously frustrated, I believe barack will listen to everyones point of view and work to bring people to a common ground.|||You should vote for candidates based on their CONSISTENT AND PATTERNED RECORDS ON ISSUES.|||NADAR Lol XP|||Vote in someone because you believe in their values.|||real issues!!! Duh.|||Issues. The rest of it is the typical media hype that has existed for 100s of years. Don't be a media mindslave, make your own decisions and do your own research.|||You need to vote on the real issues, but because you have to discern for yourself how they REALLY feel about the issues, you have to look at many things ... among them, the people and organizations they choose to associate with. Always remember that actions speak louder than words regardless of whether it's politics or love or business. What that means is that it's really easy to say, "I didn't know he was preaching that kind of stuff. I don't agree with his politics." However, the actions of associating with someone like that for 20 years, having them officiate at your wedding and your children's baptisms and including them as one of your campaign advisors is a lot more revealing.|||Real issues, throw all of the gabbage that you hear out of the window and truly listen to what the candidates are saying and go with your gut!|||The issues - you should find a candidate that you feel will work on the issues that you feel are important. Associates, race, religion, gender, political party - none of these are important - it's the person and the job that they will do that matters.|||Vote for the best of the worst. We have no good candidate to vote for. We need a fresh person who know how to run a business, not someone who is a career politician.|||This would have more weight if you could actually name some reasons to vote for Obama based on real issues instead of just his charisma and good speeches. You all want to list character as Obama's ever important feature until he starts taking hits in that department, then of course it's meaningless. Unbelievable.|||No stick to the issues. What do they stand for and what change does obama intend?|||Vote for the issues and the positions the candidates take on those issue.
That fall for all the propaganda.|||Both are important.
Let me ask you a question. If Hillary belonged to a church that taught that black people were evil would you vote for her.
If she belonged to a Church that said that the government was run by blacks and the goal was to keep blacks in slave and kill off any talented blacks.
How about if she went to a church that taught Adherence to the White Work Ethic.
If she belonged to a church that gave a life time achievement award to the head of the KKIK. Obama's church gave that to the head of Black Muslims which is the equivalent.
How about if she knew all these things and refused to denounce these teachings.
Yes there is a double standard and it belongs to liberals. They refuse to judge Obama by the same standard that they have judged all white candidates for over 40 years.|||Obama has no political history so you have go with associations and gut instinct.|||Obama doesn't have any real issues, but that's not the point.
There's no difference in ideology between Hillary %26amp; Obama. Both want to take your hard earned money and redistribute it how they see fit. The only difference between the two is in their character. Obama was thought to be a better person until we found out his mentor and spiritual leader is a hate filled racist. Now he's lying to cover himself, but he's not as good a liar as Hillary, so he may be screwed.
As an analogy, if a white man running for the presidency went to a church that preached hatred towards blacks %26amp; jews and had a pastor who endorsed the KKK, would he still be running for that office?
Would you support him if he said he was hoping for a future full of hope? Be honest now...|||This video will answer your question.
